Learn to Knit in the New Year!
January is a wonderful month to learn to knit. We have three different 2-day sessions for you to choose from.
Already have some knitting experience and know a chilly dog? We’re knitting dog sweaters with an optional fair isle pattern.
We’ll also learn to make a tiny stuffed heart, an impressive short-row scarf and a perfect hat! Please take a look at the January and February calendars to see which classes appeal to you.
Please call 415-254-2588 or email jennymalchow@mac.com with any questions.

The devil across the street
A new bakery opened up across the street from my shop and it is too good. The lemon bars, the banana cream pie, the delicious cheesecake… everything in this place is delicious.
You must come and try The Devil’s Teeth Bakery and come to the shop and tell me what you had. If you walk in and don’t know what to choose, come to the shop and if I’m there, I’ll go to the bakery with you and help you decide.
I’m not kidding.
Here is a link to the bakery on yelp.

Attention shoppers! Stitches West always takes place during the last weekend in February and we are all going. I mean it. Put it on your calendar now and I will alert you again in December when early bird registration opens.
Need a reason to go? The marketplace is full of every yarn and knitting implement on earth, the instructors are amazing (many of them are famous in the knitting world), stay up late knitting with friends, sleep in because you didn’t bring your kids…
Fun! Put in one the calendar now!

I put some new classes up on the calendar. It is very exciting. Feel free to comment if you want to rally for a certain kind of class or a certain time slot. I’m pretty flexible. Although this morning my wii fit told me that my true body age is 51.
