KNIT-TOBER FEST!

September 28th, 2011

Knitting is one of the great joys of my life and I want to share it with as many people as possible.  It is a wonderful way to relax, meet new people and produce priceless gifts.

All month long, SF Knitting Supply is offering nothing but Learn to Knit classes.  I have scheduled 15- count ‘em, 15 two hour sessions for one and all to learn to knit!

It’s $20 per two hour session or you can purchase a card for $60 and come as many times as you like in October.  Whether you buy the card or just take one class, you must register at least 24 hours ahead to save your spot in the session that you want.  The max number of students per class is 8 and if no one registers by 24 hours before a session it may be cancelled.

Here is the schedule:

Tuesdays @ 10AM, Thursdays @ 7PM, Sundays @ 12PM (except 10/2 and 10/9)

October Knit Along

September 9th, 2011

We’re kicking off our next knit along on October 1st at the Noriega Street Block Party!  We’ll be knitting Elizabeth Zimmerman’s Garter Stitch Blanket (a la Jared Flood) in Cascade Ecological Wool.  If you would like to knit a big project that will be family heirloom, but are a bit worried about crossing the finish line- this knit along is for you!  Participants will enjoy 3 in store events, an online support group and access to me via email for help all through the month of October.

To join in, all you have to do is contact me to order your yarn (10 skeins of Eco Wool @$19.95 each)& copy of The Opinionated Knitter (I’m offering this at my cost $18.00) and you’re in!
